Cancer prevention, education and early detection initiatives through partnerships among community health centers, churches & other community partners.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
Cancer screening, provider and community education, increased access to health care. Prevention early diagnosis & treatment will lead to lower state medication expenditures.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Improved health outcomes (reduced morbidity & mortality) due to earlier diagnosis and treatment and prevention.
