Project Description:
Service and Training Operation, ie teaching independent living skills, Braille and White Cane Skills to 2600 plus blind babies birth to 5 years old, statewide to enhance their quality of life and prepare them for school entrance.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
SAME AS ABOVE/7 existing agencies throughout the state with the expansion of one more needed agency to work with more children.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
This program would provide a better quality of life for these children and make them school ready. Daily living skills we normally take for granted they need to be taught.
