Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

S.A.I.N. created pursuant to FS 985.308 is a network of community partners organized to provide services to the victims and perpetrators of child on child sexual abuse, and their families.  In addition to traditional therapeutic services S.A.I.N. is creating a Crisis Response Teal to provide assistance to educational, social, religious and business entities that have experienced child on child sexual abuse.

In an effort to decrease the incidence of this form of sexual abuse, S.A.I.N. is taking a leadership tole in development of a public awareness campaign.  The goal is to thel the community to understand tge need for early intervention so as to decrease the number of occurrences.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Services Provided/Benefit to State:

 

 

 

 

 

500 units of treatment- A unit of service is an hour of treatment for offending youth or victims of offending youth.  110 units of education - an unit is an hour of attendance at a seminar for the education of treatment specialist.  64 units of Community Responsibility - S.A.I.N. is developing a Crisis Response Team to assist the community in dealing with child on child sexual abuse that  occurs in an institutional setting.

4,000 units of community awareness education.  a unit is defined as one individual who receives information provided/produced by S.A.I.N.

36 units of assessment - a unit is defined as one hour of assessment/testing of juvenile sexual offenders in determining their therapy needs

Each provider/program will identify at least five (5) criteria that will illustrate gains with regard to the designated therapy.
