Project Description:
Gasoline contamination cleanup at County Road Dept. In Sept. 1994, two drinking water wells located onsite were sampled by the Suwannee County Road Dept. The result of the sampling indicated petroleum based contamination in the northern most drinking water well. The source of the contamination was traced back to a leak in a product line from a 10,000 gallon underground storage tank to the dispenser. The county has applied for admittance into the Petroleum Cleanup Participation Program.
