Project Description:
This program is a complete perinatal care program serving rural counties with easy access for clients to receive prenatal care, 24 hour call system to reach 3 midwives for delivery or problems.
Services Provided/Benefit to State:
This service has been in existence for 15 years and has contributd to reduced infant and prenatal mortality in counties served. Identified as a model perinatal program by Southern Governor's Association.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Measurable outcomes are reduced perinatal mortatility rate and access to health care.
