Project Description:
With the closure of Charter Glade Hospital in June 2000, a valuable resource was lost. Ruth Cooper Center for Behavioral Health Care is the only acute psychiatric inpatient resource in Lee County. Our CSU is consistently full. Funding of the three beds is essential to Ruth Cooper Center being able to operate our 29 bed unit. Ruth Cooper Center operates Recurring funding for 3

274 individuals will be served with this funding. Transporting of clients to out-of-county acute care beds will be reduced.
