Project Description:
This is a Medicaid waiver based assisted living facility within public housing. All assisted living facility services will be provided. The project received $600,000 Department of Elder Affairs for construction funding. Florida Development Enterpises Corporation, a 501c3 corporation will own and manage the demonstration project in a cooperative effort with Palm Beach Housing Authority being the recipient of the funds. The $1,281,600 project based Medicaid Waiver funding will be admnistered and monitored by the Area Agency on Aging. Mangonia Gardens ALF is a two story 120 units on 5 plus acres offering an Alzheimer's wing, an Adult Day Care Center, and E.C.C. services.
