Schools rated D or F may contract with the Institute for School Innovation to provide materials, software, training and intensive coaching and mentoring to implement Project CHILD (Computers Helping Instruction and Learning Development) as part of a three-year school improvement process.  Schools receiving grants must committ local funds for ongoing expenses in years two and three.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Students will show improved test scores for reading, writing ,and mathematics.  Participating schools will receive a grader of C or higher by eyar three of implementation.
