Project Description:
Teaching of holocaust education is a statutory mandate; therefore, these funds will help school districts to comply with the statutory mandate and allow the Florida Holocaust Museum to provide the materials and training for more than seventeen (17) school districts free of charge. As a result of increased demand and cost for these materials among a greater number of school districts, The Florda Holocaust Museum does not have the resource to continue providing these needed services.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase awareness of holocaust education among a greater number of public school students; a greater number of school districts complying with the state mandate of teaching holocaust education.
