Project Description:
The primary purpose will be to provide a facility for fairground and 4-H events including the Annual Livestock Show. The proposed facility will replace an existing arena that is over 40 years old and does not meet current safety standards or handicapped accessibility standards. The existing facility would also require major renovations and asbestos abatement for coninued utilization. The proposed facility would provide an opportunity for the North Centtral Florida Region for a conference center, meeting facility, and special events building that would encourage agricultural activities and provide a safe environment for promoting agricultural entertainment and education for this region.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
A safe and desirable facility that will allow the continuance of our 4-H agricultural program, as well as, meeting a need for conference and educational training center within this region.
