Project Description:
Apply 1550 acres of irrigation water management BMP's to flatwoods citrus in the C-23 and C-24 Basins in Martin and St. Lucie counties by converting crown flood irrigated citrus to low volume micro-irrigation. This is a continuation project.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
This project will result in using 20150 acre inches per year (547,119,000) gallons per year) less water for citrus irrigation.
