Project Description:
The purpose of the project is to serve approximately 10,000 children in the working poor category. The subsidized child care waiting list vacillates between 45,000 - 50,000 children statewide. Transitioning WAGES clients and at-risk rollovers are consuming most new dollars, leaving no new dollars to enroll from the waiting list.
