The Hamilton Co. Courthouse was constructed in 1954-55 as an expansion and renovation project. The problem that is facing Hamilton County is courthouse security and room for growth. At present there is no holding facilities for prisoners at the courthouse making it difficult to segregate them from the public. There is also the problem with inadequate space for attorney to meet and conference with their clients during the court process. The current courtroom is difficult if not impossible to secure. |
