The project addresses the needs for effective child representation for children currently mandated to receive guardian ad litem representation. The State benefits by having these children represented and protected as mandated in Chapter 39. In addition, 100% of the 500 children anticipated to go through contested TPR cases in 2001 would receive the necessary advocacy and legal assistance needed. |
