||
The Father O'Reilly House is one of the oldest standing structures in Florida, dating to 1788. It is currently owned by the Sisters of St. Joseph, who aquired the property in 1876 and houses a collection of their artifacts. This project will rehabilitate the building for use as a museum. The scope of work will include: installation of a new roof, gutters, rising damp barrier, site drainage, electrical and plumbing systems; restoration of windows, doors, shutters, floors and interior and exterior finishes; repair of roof trusses, foundation, walls, fascia, soffit and trim. The project will also upgrade accessibility and life safety features and address termite eradication of the Father O'Reilly House. This project was ranked #2 by the Historic Preservation Advisory Council. |
