Project Description:
Continue renovation and restoration of the theatre's historic neoclassic building in order to expand and enhance facilities and equipment to accommodate growth of artistic, education and outreach programs. Restoration and enhancement efforts are critical in the Hippodrome's efforts to maintain the high quality of artistic excellence and to better serve our community.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The proposed renovation project will allow the Hippodrome to increase its ability to provide an artistic home to Florida artists who work in the theatre's multi-faceted space, thereby maintaining the high quality of artistic and cultural excellence. Additionally, renovation and restoration will enhance the Hippodrome's ability to engage in community outreach and education programs by maximizing effective use of the building itself. Finally, restoration will substantially increase the life of the theatre's historical building.
