The Juvenile Assessment Center will house detention and assessment services and will be located at the county government complex adjacent ot the county jail with shared services. |

The multi-diciplinary Assessment Center will provide the most efficient and cost-effective way to assess, intervene and collaborate on solutions to address the needs of those youth under the jurisdiction of the Department of Juvenile Justice. The Assessment Center will also provide an opportunity for the community fo become involed in the first coordinated effort designed to identify and intervene early with juveniles who are not currently in trouble but are at risk of getting into trouble in the future. |
