Project Description:
To provide funding for a pilot program for screening of fatty acid disorders such as MCAD for infants born in Florida. These disorders, if detected early, could prevent premature death.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The incidence of MCAD is 1:15,000. The number of infants detected will be approxiamtely 5-10.
