Project Description:
The Center for Marine Animal Health will develop the technologies for a Marine Veterinary industry that will benefit aquaculture, marine attractions, and wild marine animals. It will also train veterinarians and technicians in the application of those trchnologies.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Will benefit populations of wild animals, including manatees, dolphins, turtles and fish, where incidences of disease and mortality are increasing. The Center will also benefit commerce, tourism, and the environment of Florida.
