Project Description:
We are proposing to add 15 additional Residential Level 2 beds to the Audubon program in Sarasota, Florida, operated by Coastal Recovery Centers, Inc. The Audubon program offers its participants supervised housing units within a community apartment complex. This distinct set-up provides participants with opportunities for interaction with successful program graduates and other independent community residents. Services include assessment, case management, nursing services adult day treatment, structured activities, crisis intervention, milieu therapy, vocational services, and service integration. Staff work together with the providers psychiatric team, case management, and mental health and rehabilitation day programs to develop and/or augment basic independent living skills which assist chronically mentally ill persons in living successfully within their communities. The facility is staffed 24 hours per day/seven days a week. Case managers and psychiatrists also serve clients.

Reintegration into the community by as many group home residents as possible.
