Project Description:
Renewing Lives is a Residential Transitional Living Project for youth between the ages of 13 and 17 who are homeless; have a prior history if delinquency; and are at-risk (truant, runaway, drop-out) and a threat to public safety. The services include: Behavior Modification; Life Skills Training; Mental Health Overlay; Education; Health Services; Case Management; Conditional Release (Aftercare, Mentoring, Independent Living).
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
A reduction in juvenile crime and homelessness and an increase in the high school completion rate and enrollment in post secondary programs among at risk age youth between 13 and 17 years of age.
