Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This appropriation would allow Green Cove Springs to install of reclaimed water systems to supply reclaimed water from the Harbor Road and South Waste Water Treatement Plant (WWTP) to nearby golf courses. 

 

This is a two phase project.  The first, dealing with the Harbor Road WWTP would Make improvements to the Harbor Road WWTP to improve the quality of the water discharge and to lay 5300 linear feet of 8" water main to Magnolia Point Golf Course.

 

The Second phase requires the construction of nearly 11,000 linear feet of 8" reclaimed water main to move flow from the South WWTP to Cattail Creek Golf Course.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

This would significantly reduce the amount of wastewater discharged into the St. Johns River.  It would also make Green Cove Springs the first 100% reuse community in Florida.
