Camillus House will relocate its emergency services and substance abuse treatment facility to a new, campus-style facility. The new site will allow Camillus to expand and improve services while also freeing up the existing site for future downtown development. |

(1) Homeless persons will have access to expanded services aimed at helping them regain their self-sufficiency and independence; (2)The local community will be able to develop the current downtown property; (3) The entire community will benefit as current homeless persons receive the services they need in order to rejoin the community as productive, tax-paying members; and (4) Fewer homeless persons will be sleeping on the streets at night, a goal shared by the local business community. |
