Project Description:
Establish Center for aquaculture research and demonstration developing new crops, technologies and systems appropriate for existing farms and rural areas of Florida that are environmentally compatible and that are integrated into resource and water management practices. Guided by private sector committees. In-kind match of cash and services.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Minimum 10 new/existing agriculture farms use new technology in 2002; $50 million farm gate in 5 years.
