Project Description:
The Boys and Girls Club of Citrus County is dedicated to ensuring that our community's disadvantaged youngsters have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures. We request operating funds that will keep our three sites open daily; after school and on weekends, and during the summer when young people have free time and need positive, productive outlets. Funds are needed to provide a professional staff, full-time, trained youth development professionals, providing positive role models and mentors.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
A decrease in teen crime, teen pregnancy and latchkey children. A decrease in the number of youth involved with drugs, alcohol and other dependencies.
