Project Description:
The Jessie Trice Cancer Prevention/Healthy Body, Healthy Soul Program represents a sound approach to addressing health disparities affecting low-income communities. Jessie Trice Cancer Prevention/Healthy Body, Healthy Soul uses collaboration among community health centers across the state, faith-based and other partners to extend outreach efforts to populations that are traditionally hardest to reach to provide education and change healthy behaviors effectively, and to provide a higher level of coordination of care that previously existed.
