This project will provide St. Johns County with $750,000 to begin planning and engineering for the SR 312 extension, which when completed, will provide a complete, limited access, bi-pass around metro St. Augustine. The DOT completed an environemental study for the project in the mid 1990's. |

This road will make St. Augustine far more appealing for commerical development by providing a commerical bi-pass around congested St. Augustine. The road will also ease daily traffic and improve traffic flows during evacuations. |
