Project Description:
Educational opportunities for adults and youth statewide. Also for educators from U.of Fl., Fl.Dept. of Agriculture and other agencies. All citizens, will be able to obtain information and attend educational programs on lawn and landscape care to include environmentally friendly practices to protect and preserve vital water recharge area of statewide significance. The market value of agricultural products sold from this area annually is in excess of 415 Million. This value and economic impact is a testament to the viability of agriculture to our state.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Facility will be used by Un. of Fl. students, local and statewide school teachers, Fl. Dept. of Agriculture staff and other educational programs. With this new program projected attendance to increase by 30%. This results in expected economic gains of over 40 Million for the agricultural industry.
