Project Description:
Plan, construct and equipt a healthcare facility to replace the existing outdated and aged facility, providing adequate space for the improvement of function and expansion of existing services, as well as provide for the addition of new services, enabling staff to provide the best care possible to their patient.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Increase in patient services, admissions and revenue. Better care for residents in rural Florida such as the elderly and indigent, many who cannot afford or withstand long distance travel out of town. Better training facility for nursing students and radiology students, and for students at regional colleges. Madison County Memorial Hospital has expressed willingness to the FSU Medical School to serve as a training site for medical students rotating through the rural areas.
