Drainage, water and sewer improvements are planned for the Tropical Valley neighborhood as part of the City's Capital Improvements Plan.  This will involve the installation of a draiage system, a large water main (8") and sewer lines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Tropical Valley has been subject to repeated flooding following heavy rainfall, tropical storms, and hurricanes.  The proposed drainage improvements will mitigate the impacts of flooding for approximately 300 households or 750 persons residing in the Tropical Valley. This is 100 percent of the population in the target area.
