Project Description:
Multi-services for juvenile offenders and at-risk youth in Miami most distressed areas in Liberty City, Opa-Locka and Carol City. The programs are offered 6 days a week from 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM year round for an average of 1 to 5 years depending on the severity of the juvenile offense. Services to be offered are Academic Achievement, School Suspension, After School and Summer Programs, K.I.N.G. and G.R.E.A.T. Programs.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Reduce juvenile altercations by 50% of 50 youth by June 30, 2001; Reduce tardiness and absentees by 50% of youth by June 30, 2001; Increase Academic performance to grade level competencies by June 20, 2001.
