Project Description:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The purchase of land to construct an outdoor track facility and enhance local youth center.  Further, the center will provide after school & holiday programs, including but not limited to: crime prevention programs, drug & alchohol prevention & awareness, lifetime leisure activities, pregnancy prevention, lab.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Measurable Outcome Anticipated:

 

 

 

 

 

Keeping minors from activities, which would increase their likelihood of getting arrested, injured, or resulting in teen pregnancy.  Also, generation of revenues from meets held on track, in order to make the facility self-sufficient.  The track will be the only track in Florida designed to meet the standards for international competitions, thus giving the facility a regional and even state draw for track competitions.
