Project Description:
The City of Gretna is lacking resources and funding support within the community. The need is to construct a new well system that will provide water to present and future residents of Gretna, Florida. A new well will provide comprehensive choices of services to support children and families needs in Gretna. The construction of a new well project will create and promote opportunities for economic growth and to advance like our surrounding cities.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The New Well will provide a balance among the city's resident to ensure the availability and access to the coommunity resouce. As a result, State of Florida funding will allow the Dept of Environmental and Protection to moratorium of new connection to city water system. Likewise, the community will increase in growth and the city population and its public utility customers.
