Project Description:
Inproper treatment and management of a wastewater treatment that is generated from pipeline cleaning operations poses an environmental threat to both surface and groundwater. This project is aimed to improve the system realiability by improving primary treatment, replacement of many of the mechanical equipment units at this facility which are at or near the end of their sevice life, construction of redundant process units and provision of a standby power supply.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The anticipated outcome of this project will eliminate water quality violation in Mosquito Creek/ Appalachicola River. The project would provide a safe, dependable wastewater treatment system for the citizens of Chattahoochee.
