Community Budget Issue Requests

 

 

The following issues were submitted to the Fiscal Responsibility Council by members of the House of Representatives to be considered for funding in the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 General Appropriations Act (the state budget).

 

The deadline for submittal of requests was midnight February 9, 2001.

 

The issues are grouped alphabetically by the House member that originated the request and by issue title.  Co-sponsoring House members are not shown on the list of issues but are identified in the actual request.

As you review these issues you should be aware of 3 important considerations:

 

·        The list of issues contains many duplicates.  Some can be easily identified (identical names, etc.); others are more difficult to recognize;

 

·        The amounts requested are from all funding sources – General Revenue Funds and trust funds; and

 

·        The list will be periodically updated as better information is obtained.
