Project Description:
This request is for funding one physician, 2 nurse positions and the cost of underfunded ultrasound tests for pregnant women who have no maternity care insurance. Were it not for the service provided by MCRHS obstetric program these women would in all likelihood deliver their babies without the benefit of comprehensive prenatal care.

The provision of quality prenatal care results in improved pregnancy outcomes for receipents.
