Project Description:
Preparing for the Drug Free Years (PDFY)is a research-based program that has proven effective in helping parents of children ages 9-14 protect their children from substance abuse and other delinquent behaviors. PDFY increases protective factors and lowers risk factors that exist in families.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Reductions in children's antisocial behavior, improved academic skills, better bonding to prosocial others and fewer incidents of drug use in school.
