Project Description:
Construction of 2 Residential Step Down Group Homes serving children 10-14 years of age. Each home will consist of 5 bedrooms, 1 house parent bedroom and bath, 2 resident bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, study, multipurpose room, grand room, laundry room and storage closets. Each building plan totals 5,000 square feet.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The goal of the project is to reduce the number of children who are placed in either an Emergency Shelter and reside there for over 90 days due to the lack of long term available placements in Manatee County that do not foster a family environment.
