Project Description:
This neighborhood relies on a septic tank system, which has experienced a high failure rate, leaving abnormally high fecal coliform levels in th Biscayne Aquifer, a waterbody which supplies the area with its drinking water. This groundwater contamination poses a health threat to area residents and to the environment and emphasizes the need for a new, sanitary, sewer system.

The fecal coliform level in Westgate Lake will be dramatically reduced.
