Provides for the construction of combined Family Medicine and Primary Care "Clinical Classroom" with state of the art teaching environment for medical, nursing and public health students. Team care for vulnurable populations, specifically the elderly, children and women. Enhances partnerships with community hospitals and with the James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital. Work in consort with many USF departments and initiatives, including the Institute on Aging, on Brain Repair and Roskamp Center (Alzheimers Research) and with the College of Public Health, including Preventive and Occupational Medicine. |
