Project Description:
Project System integrates the three-quarter combined organizatinal experience of South Florida's three largest non-profit educational service organizations: SER-IBM Business Institute, Youth Co-Op, and SABER. This combination provides a full SYSTEM of services to at-risk and out-of-school youth. These organizations have previously operated a similar program sponsored, in part, by the Florida Departemt of Education and have exceeded all program goals and measures established by the Department of Education.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Enroll at least 900 youth in dropout prevention activities, retain at least 90% of the youth enrolled in dropout prevention activities; enroll at least 80 youth in dropout recovery activities and training; retain at least 70% of the youth enrolled in dropout recovery activites and training; place at least 70% of the youth completing dropout recovery activities in unsubsidized employment.
