Provide a networked system of prevention centers located throughout the state designed to provide training, technical assistance and information dissemination about utilizing science-based approaches to prevention. The Regional Prevention Centers (RPC's) will employ information-communication technology to keep the field apprised of all new funding opportunities, research and other news. Each RPC will be charged with maximizing regional prevention efforts by performing a coordinating role and to increase the effectiveness and visibility of prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use and abuse within the region. |
