Project Description:
The Hamilton County Courthouse was constructed in 1954-1955 as an expansion and renovation project. The problem that is facing Hamilton County is courthouse security and room for growth. At present there is no holding facilities for prisioners making it difficult to segregate them from the public. There is also the problem with inadequate space for attorney to meet and conference with client during the court process. The current courthouse is difficult if not impossible to secure.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Enable the county to make renovations and security enhancements to the existing courthouse facility. Address access for all citizens especially the disabled.
