Project Description:
Increase square footage of the cafeteria to enable the school to have two serving periods,an area to hold assemblies and provide a place for parents to convene for workshops, meetings, and other activites.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
Serving time for students will be reduced by 50%. The length of time between breakfast and lunch for grades PK-1 will be increased by 1 hour and decreased for grades 4 and 5 by 45 minutes. Seating for student assemblies will increase 40% to allow full student body attendance. Parent meetings will increase 50% due to increased size to facilitate additional meetings.
