The project will provide 2 full time positions to operate two computer labs to bridge the digital divide for underserved residents of the Southside of Tallahassee. The need for the funding will provide comprehensive services to support children and family needs in Leon County rural areas. The computer lab will commit to providing services such as: general information, education assistance for youth and community residents. To ensure the availability and access to the computer lab our program will target economically disadvantaged youngsters and provide them with meaningful skill development and training experience, enhancing their long term job prospects and career opportunities in technology. |

The goal of this project will ensure the availability and access to computer resources by improving and restoring the well-being of youth, families, and residents of Leon County. We anticipate the result of this project will increase the number of youth entering the workforce, achieving job stability and advancement in the technology field. |
