Project Description:
The Master Plan calls for the construction of central sewer systems for most of the Florida Keys in order to reduce the overall construction and operational costs of required wastewater treatment, provide increased reliability in treating wastewater and increase the level of wastewater treatment completed to individual on-site systems.
Measurable Outcome Anticipated:
The preparation of detailed plans and design for these facilities, which will help ensure their construction as expeditiously as possible. The expeditious construction of these facilities will directly result in improved water quality in the Keys over time.
