Project Description: |
Create and sustain a transitional home for addicts, choosing to live in recovery. This highly structured environment will provide opportunities for people to reclaim their lives and assume constructive roles in the community. Staffing will include two on-site resident managers, an addictions counselor, a spiritual guide, and a social service counselor. Residents will stay a maximum of six-months. During their stay they will be required to get a job, pay rent, stay sober, observe a curfew, learn money management skills, participate in comprehensive social services and addictions counseling, and develop a broad recovery support network by attending local 12-step meetings. |
