|
The right of way support and design for the Truck Route (State Road 263) to Wahnish Way would advance the movement of economic growth and facilitate proper utilization of Leon County's southern region which links two state universities, FSU and FL Agricultural and Mechanical University. This project will sustain mixed land use district of residential, retail and commerical revitalization for multiple modes of transportation. This system preservation will provide greater transportation opportunities - bicycle, pedestrian, transit and auto-on an existing corridor which links two Universities, if access to the community transit resources are implemented. Finally, these routes are the primary ingress/egress to the Tallahassee Regional Airport serving all air transportation visitors to the Capitol City and contiguous region. |
