This project will fund construction sub-projects to benefit the water quality of the Lake Worth Lagoon. Five sub-projects are recommended for funding; four municipal stormwater retrofit projects will treat stormwater from ares which previously untreated stormwater, carrying suspended solids and other pollutants directly into Lake Worth Lagoon; another project will remove exotic vegetation and restore mangrove wetlands and tidal ditches/ponds. |
