Project Description:
Project will be a reclamation of downtown one-half city block that was destroyed by fire. The Suwannee Democrat was one of the businesses which was burned and while not on historic register, is of historic significance. Park will be used as a staging area for bicycle events and also as a trailhead for anticipated Greenways trail. Park will also be utilized in other events such as Christmas on the square.

Benefit to approximately 6,500 citizens and approximately 33,000 county residents, as well as the influx of out of community attendees of events
